INFORMERS – GERAÇÃO PERDIDA, do australiano Gregor Jordan se propõe a ser um painel multifacetado sobre um grupo de pessoas cujas vidas se entrelaçam em Los Angeles. Algo meio na linga dos ótimos BABEL, 21 GRAMAS e CRASH, filmes que adotaram este tipo de narrativa com várias histórias se entrelaçando de modo aparentemente desconexo.
O elenco de INFORMERS é altamente estimulante: Billy Bob Thornton (o ótimo ator da série GOLIATH), Kim Bassinger (Oscar de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante por LOS ANGELES: CIDADE PROIBIDA), Wynona Ryder, Amber Heard, Rhys Ifans, Brad Renfro, Mickey Rourke e Jon Foster. Tantos bons atores e atrizses parecem soltos e sem qualquer direção, dizendo as frases (poucas e desconexas) do roteiro.
Aparentemente, INFORMERS (que se passa na década de 80) pretende ser um alerta com relação a AIDS, então uma doença desconhecida em fase de explosão de contágio pelo sexo sem proiteção, drogas injetáveis a granel e vida desregrada das pessoas.
Tirando a beleza estonteante de Amber Heard e algumas paisagens incríveis de Los Angeles, INFORMERS é um total desperdício.

The cast of INFORMERS is very good: Billy Bob Thornton (GOLIATH), Kim Bassinger (Oscar od Best Supporting Actress), Wynona Ryder, Amber Heard, Rhys Ifans, Brad Renfro, Mickey Rourke and Jon Foster. They are totally under directed.
INFORMERS is about the increase of AIDS, in the eighties, where unsafe sex, injected drugs e a life of parties in the only thing they know.
Besides the astonishing beauty of Amber Heard, INFORMERS is a totally waste of time.
