Existe uma tese de que é necessário que alguns anos se passem para que a gente possa avaliar com exatidão a importância de determinado filme, livro, música ou obra de arte. Um exemplo de filme que foi ganhando fama (e reconhecimento) com o passar do tempo é O FEITIÇO DO TEMPO, que Harold Ramos dirigiu em 1993.
Bill Murray vive um “Homem do Tempo” de uma emissora de televisão que, muito a contragosto é mandado à pequena cidade de Punxsutawney para cobrir o evento chamado “Dia da Marmota”. Inexplicavelmente, quando ele fica retido na cidadezinha em face de uma tempestade, ele acorda na manhã seguinte e vê incrédulo que ficou preso no tempo e tem que viver o “dia da marmota” inúmeras vezes.
Ao lado de Murray, como sua Produtora está a linda Andie McDowell (SEXO, MENTIRAS E VIDEOTAPES) e o maluquete cameraman Chris Elliot (QUEM VAI FICAR COM MARY?).
Na época de seu lançamento, O FEITIÇO DO TEMPO foi visto apenas como mais uma comédia romântica interessante feita por pessoas talentosas. Foi somente com sua revisão no decorrer dos anos que ele virou um verdadeiro filme de culto. A armadilha do tempo, o dia da marmota, o mau humor do protagonista, a interessante relação entre colegas de trabalho, todos foram aspectos que elevaram O FEITIÇO DO TEMPO a um patamar acima.
O diretor Harold Ramis faleceu em 2004, mas em sua obra deixou vários ótimos trabalhos entre os quais este cada vez mais interessante O FEITIÇO DO TEMPO.

At the time of its release, GROUNDHOG DAY was seen just like another romantic comedy, made by very talented people. Years later, the picture is recognized as a cult movie. The trap on time, the Groundhog Day itself, the bad temper of the main character and the interesting relation between the work colleagues are aspects that elevated the movie.
Ramis died in 2004, but among his best works there is this very interesting GROUNDHOG DAY.
