Apple TV+ is showing the medium-length documentary (49 minutes), BEING JAMES BOND, directed by filmmaker Baillie Walsh, recounting the life of actor Daniel Craig, since he was considered to be the new 007 until his farewell at awaited NO TIME TO DIE.

EON producers (Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson) have a chat with Daniel Craig, recalling from his first audition for CASINO ROYALE (shown in the film), the brutal initial rejection from fans and the press, the back on top and his memorable success, innovating Bond forever in these 5 films like 007.

Of course, the permanent fascination of James Bond and the excellence of the available visual material (unpublished scenes from the making offs of the films) ensure that the Secret Agent Fan will be mesmerized by the documentary.

I learned a lot of interesting things that I didn’t. The peeve of a blond James Bond (“Bland Blond” for the English tabloids), the reasons QUANTUM OF SOLACE feels like a rushed movie, and the historic turn with SKYFALL, the highest grossing 007 of all time.

In my opinion, Daniel Craig is the second best 007 of all time. Although Sean Connery could be considered “hors concurs”.

In any case, BEING JAMES BOND is a very well done documentary and a must-see show for James Bond fans.
