Entrou em cartaz na Apple TV+ a série de 8 episódios, intitulada NOW AND THEN.
Quais os motivos para ver a série?
As produções originais da Apple TV+ têm sido, em regra, bastante interessantes.
O elenco tem Soledad Villamil (O SEGREDO DOS SEUS OLHOS), Maribel Verdu (Y TU MAMÁ TAMBIÉN) e Rosie Perez (HOMENS BRANCOS NÃO SABEM ENTERRAR), um trio de mulheres maduras de altíssima qualidade interpretativa.
E a trama se passa em Miami, cada vez mais uma cidade cinematográfica com a beleza única de suas paisagens principalmente noturnas.
Um grupo de estudantes (o elenco é quase todo latino) vai penar o resto da vida por um acidente ocorrido em seu passado, onde uma pessoa morreu e eles resolveram ocultar o ocorrido.
Anos depois, aquela noite fatídica passa a lhes perseguir. Quem está por trás de tudo?
Parece que você já viu este filme? É verdade. EU SEI O QUE VOCÊS FIZERAM NO VERÃO PASSADO e suas múltiplas refilmagens e sequências têm exatamente a mesma história. Como dizia o Chacrinha, “no mundo nada se cria, tudo se copia.”
No elenco, além das citadas, Alicia Sanz, José Maria Yazpik, Marina de Tavira, Ella Kweku e Gala Bichir.
Pelo primeiro capítulo, o “whodunnit” da trama está bem feito.

The cast includes Soledad Villamil (THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES), Maribel Verdu (Y TU MAMÁ TAMBIÉN) and Rosie Perez (WHITE MEN CAN’T JUMP), a trio of mature women of the highest interpretive quality.
And the plot takes place in Miami, increasingly a cinematic city with the unique beauty of its mainly nocturnal landscapes.
A group of students (the cast is mostly Latino) will suffer the rest of their lives for an accident that happened in their past, where a person died and they decided to hide what happened.
Years later, that fateful night haunts them. Who’s behind it all?
Looks like you’ve seen this movie? It is true. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER and its multiple remakes and sequels have the exact same story. As Chacrinha said, “in the world nothing is created, everything is copied.”

By the first chapter, the “whodunnit” of the plot is well done.
