JOE PICKETT conta a história de um Guarda Florestal no Wyoming. Quando conhecemos Joe Pickett (Michael Dorman) ele recém assumiu o cargo e inicia a patrulhar as belíssimas paisagens do Wyoming (embora as locações tenham sido feitas em Alberta, Canadá).
Seu antecessor lhe adverte. “Sabe porque o maior índice de oficiais da lei mortos no trabalho é de Guardas Florestais? Por que todos os infratores que eles abordam estão bêbados e armados.”
Joe tem uma esposa (grávida do terceiro filho), vivida pela atriz Julianna Guill (THE RESIDENT) e duas meninas que adoram dividir as maravilhas da natureza com o Pai.
Pelo andar da carruagem – vi apenas o primeiro dos 11 capítulos – a Família Pickett vai passar muitas dificuldades. A cidade está à beira da falência e todos buscam desesperadamente sobreviver.

Achei interessante o viés ambiental da série JOE PICKETT. Me pareceu moderno e criativo.

JOE PICKETT tells the story of a Game Warden in Wyoming. When we meet Joe Pickett (Michael Dorman) he has just taken over the job and starts patrolling the beautiful landscapes of Wyoming (although the locations were made in Alberta, Canada).
His predecessor warned him. “Do you know why the highest rate of law enforcement officers killed on the job is Game Wardens? Because all the offenders they approach are drunk and armed.”
Joe has a wife (pregnant with their third child), played by actress Julianna Guill (THE RESIDENT) and two girls who love to share the wonders of nature with their Father.
From the beginning – I’ve only seen the first of the 11 chapters – the Pickett Family will face many difficulties. The city is on the verge of bankruptcy and everyone is desperately trying to survive.
A corpse appears one night outside the Picketts’ house.
I found the environmental bias of the JOE PICKETT series interesting. It seemed modern and creative to me.
