A NETFLIX está exibindo os 4 capítulos de A MÃE PERFEITA (UNE MÈRE PARFAITE), série franco-germânica com trama capaz de prender a atenção do espectador até o final.
Uma jovem vai estudar em Paris, deixando a família que mora em Berlim. Certa manhã, angustiada a jovem liga para a mãe e diz estar envolvida injustamente no assassinato de um jovem com quem saíra à noite passada. Ele teria sido morto por um traficante e ela estaria sendo a principal suspeita da polícia francesa.
A organizada vida familiar desaba completamente. A mãe embarca para Paris imediatamente. O Pai, um cirurgião de renome passa a ter dificuldades em conciliar sua agenda atribulada. O filho enlouquece e descuida de seus exames.
A mãe (a ótima atriz Julie Gayet) morou muitos anos em Paris e vai atrás de um ex-namorada, hoje um criminalista de sucesso por lá. O personagem do advogado, para mim o melhor de todos é vivido pelo excelente ator alemão Tomer Sisley, que já tinha dado show na série BALTHAZAR.
A filha carinha de anjo desorientada é feita pela atriz Eden Ducourant. Ainda tem no elenco Andreas Pietschmann como o marido e Cyril Guei, como o Policial encarregado da investigação.
Para complicar, o morto é o rico e problemático herdeiro de uma grande indústria de cosméticos que tem o hábito de bater em meninas com quem sai.
A trama é muito bem desenvolvida. À medida em que as investigações andam (pela polícia, pelo advogado e pela mãe aflita), a história vai mudando.
O modelo do “quem matou?” (“whodunnit?”) é o mais tradicional das tramas policiais. À flat de originalidade, o roteiro tem que lidar com uma boa sequência de surpresas para o especatdro.
THE PERFECT MOTHER consegue fazer isto muito bem.
Eu fiquei até o final preso para saber o que realmente tinha acontecido.
Dizem que haverá uma segunda temporada. Coitada da mãe.

A young woman goes to study in Paris, leaving her family in Berlin. One morning, in anguish, the young woman calls her mother and says she is wrongfully involved in the murder of a young man she had gone out with last night. He would have been killed by a drug dealer and she would be the main suspect of the French police.
Organized family life completely collapses. The mother leaves for Paris immediately. Father, a renowned surgeon, finds it difficult to reconcile his busy schedule. The son goes crazy and neglects his exams.
The mother (the great actress Julie Gayet) lived in Paris for many years and is looking for an ex-girlfriend, now a successful criminalist there. The lawyer’s character, for me the best of all, is played by the excellent German actor Tomer Sisley, who had already given a show in the series BALTHAZAR.
The Disoriented Angel Face Daughter is played by actress Eden Ducourant. It still has Andreas Pietschmann as the Father and Cyril Guei as the Police Officer in charge of the investigation.
To aggravate the things, the dead one is the heir of a big cosmetics industry, who usually beat the girls he date.
The plot is very well developed. As the investigation progresses (by the police, the lawyer and the afflicted mother), the story changes.
The “whodunnit?” is the most traditional of crime plots. Apart from originality, the script has to deal with a good sequence of surprises for the show.
THE PERFECT MOTHER can do this very well.
I was stuck until the end to find out what really happened.
They say there will be a second season. Poor mother.
