Quando eu li que o filme UMA LIVRARIA EM PARIS (A BOOKSHOP IN PARIS – IL MATERIALE EMOTIVO) se originava de um roteiro escrito pelo mestre do cinema italiano Ettore Scola (junto com sua filha Silvia e com Furio Scarpelli), intitulado “Um Dragão em Forma de Nuvem” (Un Drago a Forma di Nuvola) sai procurando onde ver o filme.

É um trabalho maravilhoso do cineasta italiano Sergio Castellitto, que estrela e dirige o filme.
Um pequeno livreiro em Paris vive para cuidar da filha paraplégica (em decorrência de um acidente em uma piscina) que vive no andar de cima da loja, sem dizer uma só palavra a quem quer que seja.
A rotina aprisionada dos dois vais se modificar quando no teatro em frente à livraria, uma jovem atriz inicia a frequentar a livraria trazendo encantamento à vida do soturno proprietário Vincenzo.
Vincenzo é o próprio diretor Castellitto, em ótimo trabalho. A filha muda e desencantada Albertine é a atriz italiana Matilda de Angelis (deslumbrante na série da HBO, THE UNDOING). O sopro de vida vem de Bérénice Bejo, sempre diferenciada na arte de representar. Sua Yolande é fulgurante, viva, ousada e escandalosa.
O humanismo da história de Ettore Scola dá muita saudade dos filmes do mestre. Em IL MATERIALE EMOTIVO, há muito de NÓS QUE NOS AMÁVAMOS TANTO, O BAILE e UM DIA ESPECIAL. Scola foi um cineasta com profundo conhecimento da alma humana. Seus personagens derramam emoção.
Já faz tempo notei que livrarias dão ótimos filmes. NOTTING HILL, 84 CHARING CROSS ROAD, THE BOOKSHOP, HUGO, A TABACARIA e YOU’VE GOT MAIL são apenas alguns exemplares.
