Confesso que me surpreendi quando li que a atriz Anne Heche, ontem falecida fez 92 papéis em filmes e séries.
O filme dela que mais gostei foi o divertido e irregular SIX DAYS SEVEN NIGHTS, que ela fez ao lado de Harrison Ford. Recém saída do casamento com a apresentadora Ellen de Generes, Anne buscava restabelecer a carreira. A comédia de aventuras tinha ótimos momentos e pouca química entre ela e Indiana Jones. Mas era simpática.
O pior trabalho dela foi na inacreditável refilmagem de PSICOSE, que o cineasta Gus van Sant fez em 1998. Tentar recriar a Mario Crane, de Janet Leigh e sua famosa morte no chuveiro foi somente um dos erros grosseiros do filme. Anne caiu junto.
Eu gostava de vê-la trabalhar. Não tinha medo de ousar.

Her movie that I liked the most was the fun and irregular SIX DAYS SEVEN NIGHTS, which she made with Harrison Ford. Fresh out of her marriage to presenter Ellen de Generes, Anne sought to restore her career. The adventure comedy had great moments and little chemistry between it and Indiana Jones. But she was nice.
Her worst job was in the unbelievable remake of PSYCHO, which filmmaker Gus van Sant made in 1998. Trying to recreate Janet Leigh’s Marion Crane and her famous shower death was just one of the film’s big mistakes. Anne fell along.
I enjoyed watching her work. She wasn’t afraid to dare.
