Em 23 de junho de 2018, o mundo se deparou com 12 meninos e seu técnico de futebol que ficaram presos em uma caverna na Tailândia. O grande cineasta Ron Howard transformou esta história incrível no filme TREZE VIDAS: O RESGATE, já em exibição na Amazon Prime Video.
Uma grande operação internacional de governos e voluntários, envolvendo 17 países foi montada visando a tentativa – quase impossível – de resgatar aqueles meninos com vida.
Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell , Joel Edgerton, Tom Bateman e Paul Gleeson são os principais nomes do elenco.
O filme tem duas horas e vinte e sete minutos, o que me pareceu exagerado.
De qualquer sorte, contando com esta história poderosa e com um elenco competente, Ron Howard soube mante o espectador atento ao que se desenrola na tela. Howard ainda dá um tom ambientalista ao filme que soa bastante interessante.
Certamente não é um grande filme. Mas é competente e emocionante. Dá para ver sem susto.
On June 23, 2018, the world came across 12 boys and their soccer coach who were trapped in a cave in Thailand. Great filmmaker Ron Howard turned this incredible story into the movie THIRTEEN LIVES, now showing on Amazon Prime Video.
A large international operation of governments and volunteers, involving 17 countries, was mounted in an attempt – almost impossible – to rescue those boys alive.
Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, Joel Edgerton, Tom Bateman and Paul Gleeson are the main names in the cast.
The film is two hours and twenty-seven minutes long, which I think it is exaggerated.
In any case, with this powerful story and a competent cast, Ron Howard knew how to keep the viewer attentive to what is unfolding on the screen. Howard still gives the film an environmental tone that sounds quite interesting.
It’s certainly not a great movie. But it is competent and exciting. It’s not hard to see.
