O STAR+ e o HULU estreiam neste semana uma série de 8 capítulos que promete polêmica: MIKE.

A série promete contar a verdadeira história sobre uma das figuras mais controvertidas do esporte mundial, o campeão de pesos pesados, Mike Tyson.

Trevante Rhodes (de OS ESTADOS UNIDOS CONTRA BILLIE HOLLIDAY), em elogiado desempenho, vive Mike Tyson, um negro jovem nascido em Nova Iorque e que se tornou campeão mundial de box, em 1987, aos 21 anos.

O elenco da série tem Harvey Keitel (Cus D’amato), Laura Harrier (Robin Givens), Russell Hornsby (Don King), Li Eubanks (Desiree Washington, a vítima do estupro), Jackie Sanders (Barbara Walters), Greg Kaston (Reverendo Jesse Jackson), Chip Lane (Donald Trump) e Johnny Alexander (Evander Holyfield).

The series promises to tell the true story about one of the most controversial figures in world sport, heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

Trevante Rhodes (USA VS BILLIE HOLLIDAY), in an acclaimed performance, plays Mike Tyson, a young black man born in New York who became world boxing champion in 1987 at the age of 21.
