A ITV inglesa mostrou em 2012 a seríe policial CASE SENSITIVE, com duas histórias de dois capítulos cada uma, contando investigações da dupla formada pela DS Charlie Zailer (a excelente Olivia Williams) e pelo DI Simon Waterhouse (Darren Boyd).
Os dois policiais têm de enfrentar crimes cujo culpado é bastante difícil de desvendar. Esta é a maior atração da série: os suspeitos de sempre não são os verdadeiros culpados.
O “whodunnit” sempre foi uma forma atrativa de desenvolver uma história policial. Aqui, as duas histórias souberam seguir o esquema, surpreendendo o espectador.
Há tantas tramas policiais britânicas, que é difícil algum desenrolar da história trazer algum elemento novo. CASE SENSITIVE logra este feito.
Somente por isso, já vale a pena ser visto.

The two policemen have to face crimes whose culprit is quite difficult to unravel. This is the biggest attraction of the series: the usual suspects are not the real culprits.
The “whodunnit” has always been an attractive way to develop a detective story. Here, the two stories knew how to follow the scheme, surprising the viewer.
There are so many British crime plots that it’s difficult for any unfolding story to bring in any new elements. CASE SENSITIVE achieves this feat.
For that alone, it’s worth seeing.
There is still the excellent work of Olivia Williams who adds DS Zailer to the gallery of her best works.
