O episódio 8 da série original da Apple TV, SURFACE é o final da temporada.
Mas não é, nem de longe, o final da história de Sophie/Tess, uma mulher que pulou de um navio, em uma tentativa de suicídio mal explicada.
A série, estrelada pela ótima Gugu Mbatha-Raw, é extremamente bem roteirizada e produzida. A trama vai surgindo capítulo a capítulo, deixando o espectador cada vez mais preso aos personagens e à história.
Nada é o que parece. Ainda há muito a explicar.
Aí, surgem os créditos do episódio final.
Claro que tudo foi feito para a gente esperar ansioso pela temporada dois. Que ainda não está confirmada (de ser breve).
O que significam os sonhos de Tess sobre a misteriosa mulher inglesa que ela encontra no PUB londrino? O marido abandonado vai seguir Sophie até Londres? A amiga Caroline voltará à cena? Quem é Eliza e qual seu papel na vida de Tess?
Ficaram muitas perguntas para uma segunda temporada.
Claro que vai haver uma continuação das aventuras/desventuras de Sophie/Tess.

Episode 8 of the original Apple TV series SURFACE is the season finale.
But it’s far from the end of the story of Sophie/Tess, a woman who jumped off a ship in an ill-explained suicide attempt.
The series, starring the great Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is extremely well scripted and produced. The plot emerges chapter by chapter, leaving the viewer more and more attached to the characters and the story.
Nothing is what it seems like. There is still a lot to explain.
Then comes the credits for the final episode.
Of course, everything was done for us to look forward to season two. Which is not yet confirmed (to be brief).
What do Tess’ dreams about the mysterious English woman she meets at the London pub mean? Will the abandoned husband follow Sophie to London? Will her friend Caroline return to the scene? Who is Eliza and what role does she play in Tess’ life?
There were a lot of questions for a second season.
Of course there will be a continuation of Sophie/Tess’ adventures/misadventures.
