Já comentei aqui a primeira temporada da série THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE, do Canal STARZ, idealizada por Steven Soderbergh, a partir do longa metragem do mesmo nome que ele rodou em 2009, com a atriz Sasha Gray.
Nos capítulos do ano um, a atriz Riley Keough vivia uma jovem estudante universitária de direito que entra em contato com um serviço top de escort girls de Chicago, As tentativas dela de seguir a vida “normal”, o relacionamento com o namorado e a clientela do Girlfriend Experience proporcionam uma trama bastante interessante que o talento dos envolvidos garante.
Há três aspectos que chamam a atenção: as cenas de sexo são filmadas e exibidas no limite do explícito como em nenhuma outra série de alto nível; duas dos três diretores da série são mulheres, o que assegura o interesse em ver a visão feminina do tema; os episódios são de 25 minutos cada um, dando uma dinâmica bem grande à trama.

Continuo atraído pelo projeto da série. Em um universo de tantas séries parecidas, THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE tem pelo menos uma originalidade que a torna digna de atenção.
