O PERFUMISTA: Thriller Monótono e Inodoro

Em 1985, o recluso escritor alemão Patrick Suskind lançou o romance PERFUME. Foi uma febre mundial. Era a história de um perfumista que se tornava um serial killer em busca do perfume perfeito. Comprei o livro e li, mas não entrei no fã clube de Suskind. Achei a trama fraca, a história pobre e os personagens maléficos demais. Não gostei.

Anos depois, em 2006, o cineasta alemão Tom Tykwer fez o filme PERFUME, A HISTÓRIA DE UM ASSASSINO. O elenco internacional tinha atores respeitados, como Dustin Hoffman e Alan Hickman. O protagonista era o ator inglês (então bem jovem) Ben Whishaw, que anos depois virou o novo Q na série James Bond.

Também não gostei. O filme era muito desagradável de se ver. Os assassinatos eram cruéis e novamente o personagem Jean-Baptiste Grenouille não me fascinou.

A NETFLIX está apresentando o filme alemão O PERFUMISTA. um thriller de pouco mais de noventa minutos. Um policial quer recuperar o olfato (e a namorada) e entra em contato com um perfumista assassino.

Embora tenha algumas cenas estilosas, achei o filme muito chato.

Definitivamente vou abandonar os perfumistas de Patrick Suskind.

In 1985, the reclusive German writer Patrick Suskind released the novel PERFUME. It was a worldwide fever. It was the story of a perfumer who became a serial killer in search of the perfect perfume. I bought the book and read it, but I didn’t join the Suskind fan club. I found the plot weak, the story poor and the characters too evil. Did not like.

Years later, in 2006, German filmmaker Tom Tykwer made the film PERFUME, THE STORY OF A KILLER. The international cast had respected actors such as Dustin Hoffman and Alan Hickman. The protagonist was the English actor (then very young) Ben Whishaw, who years later became the new Q in the James Bond series.

I didn’t like it either. The film was very unpleasant to watch. The murders were cruel and again the character Jean-Baptiste Grenouille did not fascinate me.

NETFLIX is presenting the German film THE PERFUMIST. a little more than ninety-minute thriller. A policeman wants to regain his sense of smell (and his girlfriend) and comes into contact with a murderous perfumer.

Although it has some stylish scenes, I found the movie to be very boring.

I will definitely ditch Patrick Suskind’s perfumers.
