Estréia hoje na Apple TV+, o filme original RAYMOND & RAY, dirigido pelo cineasta colombiano Rodrigo Garcia (Diretor da excelente série da HBO IN TREATMENT).
Ewan McGregor e Ethan Hawke vivem dois meio irmãos que se reúnem depois da morte do Pai, atendendo sua última vontade em um desejo bem estranho: que sua cova fosse cavada pelos dois filhos.
Pelo material de promoção do filme, temos uma comédia dramática que expõe o estranhamento entre os dois irmãos que têm muito pouco contato, ainda mais sendo obrigados a conviver em circunstâncias tão diferentes.
O elenco parece fabuloso. Além de Hawke e McGregor (dois atores nota dez), o cast tem a espanhola Maribel Verdú (Y TU MAMAN TAMBIÉM), Angie Campbell, Dominic Ward, a ótima Sophie Okonedo, Vondie-Curtis Hall, Laura Linda Bradley e Jaylin Biden.
Está aí outro filme que vou ver certo neste final de semana. Promete muito.

Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke live as two half brothers who are reunited after their father’s death, fulfilling his last will in a very strange wish: that his grave be dug by his two sons.
Through the film’s promotional material, we have a dramatic comedy that exposes the estrangement between the two brothers who have very little contact, even more being forced to live in such different circumstances.
The cast looks fabulous. In addition to Hawke and McGregor (two actors of note), the cast has the Spanish Maribel Verdú (Y TU MAMAN TAMBIÉM), Angie Campbell, Dominic Ward, the great Sophie Okonedo, Vondie-Curtis Hall, Laura Linda Bradley and Jaylin Biden.
There’s another movie that I’m going to see for sure this weekend. It promises a lot.
