Vi ontem dois capítulos da nova série do Canal CW, intitulada WALKER: INDEPENDENCE. É uma espécie de prequel da série de sucesso com o Ranger Texano WALKER.
Aqui a jovem Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara) está chegando ao Oeste com seu marido, quando ele é assassinado brutalmente por um pistoleiro que a deixa ferida de morte. Ela é salva por índios apaches e vai atrás de vingança na pequena cidade de INDEPENDENCE.
A série seria muito igual a tantas outras se não fosse o fato de que as mulheres de INDEPENDENCE fazem jus ao nome da cidade. Elas têm agenda própria, manejam armas como poucos, têm seus amores e amantes sem qualquer receio e vão atrás de seus desejos sem pestanejar.
Kate Findlay (Kate), Gabriela Quesada (Lucia Reyes), Sarah Minnich (Martha) e Cate Jones (Molly) fazem o elenco feminino da série. Matt Bar (Hoyt), Justin Johnson Cortez (o apache Calian), Greg Hovanessian (o novo xerife Tom) e seu ajudante Philemon Chambers (Augustus) são o naipe masculino.
Uma produção interessante assegura o interesse nestes capítulos introdutórios.

Yesterday I saw two chapters of the new series on the CW Channel, entitled WALKER: INDEPENDENCE. It’s a kind of prequel to the hit series with the Texan Ranger WALKER.
Here, young Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara) is heading west with her husband, when he is brutally murdered by a gunman who leaves her fatally wounded. She is saved by Apache Indians and seeks revenge in the small town of INDEPENDENCE.
The series would be much like so many others if it weren’t for the fact that the women of INDEPENDENCE live up to the city’s name. They have their own agenda, wield weapons like few others, have their loves and lovers without any fear and go after their desires without blinking an eye.
Kate Findlay (Kate), Gabriela Quesada (Lucia Reyes), Sarah Minnich (Martha) and Cate Jones (Molly) are the female cast of the series. Matt Bar (Hoyt), Justin Johnson Cortez (the Apache Calian), Greg Hovanessian (the new Sheriff Tom) and his deputy Philemon Chambers (Augustus) are the men’s suit.
An interesting production ensures interest in these introductory chapters.
