SETEMBRO: Filme Italiano Leve, Emocionante e Divertido Foi Minha Estréia no Festival

Vi o primeiro filme no FESTIVAL DO CINEMA ITALIANO de 2022.

Foi SETTEMBRE, Julia Louise Steigerwalt, cineasta texana que atuou como atriz em vários filmes de sucesso, inclusive UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN.

O filme tem basicamente três histórias: uma adolescente pede para um amigo mais experiente para prepará-la para a iniciação sexual com um amigo da turma; um jovem prostituta é seguidamente procurada por um médico idoso e solitário que somente quer conversar com ela; duas mulheres se envolvem afetivamente quando uma delas recebe uma má notícia que não muda a indiferença do marido.

Tudo é mostrado em um clima leve, quase de crônica de costumes, sem qualquer julgamento moral seja das histórias, seja dos personagens. Todos têm seus obstáculos e vão vivendo da melhor forma possível.

Barbara Ronchi, Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Margherita Rebegianni, Tessa Litvan e Lucca Nozzoli fazem um excelente cast.

Realmente gostei muito do filme de Steigerwalt. É um exemplar filme sobre emoções, dilemas e vida. Feito com grande sensibilidade.

Deve ser visto.

I saw the first film at the 2022 ITALIAN CINEMA FESTIVAL.

It was SETTEMBRE, by Julia Louise Steigerwalt, a Texan filmmaker who acted as an actress in several successful films, including UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN.

The film basically has three stories: a teenager asks a more experienced friend to prepare her for sexual initiation with a classmate; a young prostitute is often sought out by a lonely, elderly doctor who just wants to talk to her; two women become emotionally involved when one of them receives bad news that does not change her husband’s indifference.

Everything is shown in a light mood, almost like a chronicle of daily life, without any moral judgment either of the stories or the characters. Everyone has their obstacles and lives the best they can.

Barbara Ronchi, Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Margherita Rebegianni, Tessa Litvan and Lucca Nozzoli make an excellent cast.

I really enjoyed Steigerwalt’s movie a lot. It is an exemplary film about emotions, dilemmas and life. Made with great sensitivity.

Must be seen.
