CORRENDO CONTRA O TEMPO (DON’T LET GO), do diretor Jacob Estes é um thriller policial cujo argumento (baseado no livro de Drew Daywalt) é muito interessante. Um policial se depara com o assassinato de toda a família de seu irmão, um traficante de drogas, em um crime bárbaro que vitimou também a jovem Ashley, sua sobrinha amada.
Ainda em luto, o policial Jack Radcliff (David Oyelowo) começa a receber telefonemas da sobrinha, como se ela estivesse ligando a ele três dias antes do crime.
A sobrinha Ashley é vivida com muita força pela jovem Storm Reid.
O enredo lembra o filme FREQUENCY, com Dennis Quaid e Jim Caviezel.
Alucinação do tio traumatizado, uma quebra no tempo, ou algo espírita? O que está ocorrendo com Jack e sua sobrinha?
A ideia segura o filme. Certamente poderia ser melhor elaborada, mas a gente vê com interesse até o final.

Still in mourning, police officer Jack Radcliff (David Oyelowo) begins to receive phone calls from his niece, as if she were calling him three days before the crime.
Niece Ashley is lived very strongly by the young Storm Reid.
The plot resembles the movie FREQUENCY, with Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel.
Hallucination of the traumatized uncle, a break in time, or something spiritist? What’s going on with Jack and his niece?
The idea holds the film. It could certainly be better elaborated, but we watch with interest until the end.
