Vi ontem o décimo segundo e último episódio da série ANDOR, uma criação de Tony Gilroy para a Lucasfilm.
Este último capítulo foi ótimo. Deixou muito apetite por mais aventuras de Cass Andor e sua turma.
É verdade que foi muito mais drama que aventura. A cena do funeral da mãe de Andor, vivida magistralmente por Fiona Lewis foi incrível e emocionante.
Há muitos bons atores em ANDOR: Diego Luna, Adria Arjona, Forest Whitaker, Varada Sethu, Genevieve O’Reilly (outra que foi muito bem como a Senadora rebelde Mon Mothma), Stellan Skarsgard. Um elenco desse, com uma ótima história somente poderia dar coisa boa.
Desde STAR WARS IV: A NEW HOPE, lá no distante 1977 que a luta da Resistência contra o poderoso e cruel império tem um charme especial. Impossível não se emocionar pela luta contra o Império.
Eu gosto muito de ROGUE ONE, para mim o melhor de todos os spin offs de STAR WARS. ANDOR retoma em alto nível a história pregressa da turma de ROGUE ONE.
Estas séries que a LUCASFILM está criando com outras histórias dos personagens que apareceram nos filmes STAR WARS tem nos dado um inestimável material para manter acesa nossa paixão de starwarsmaníacos.
Gosto muito de THE MANDALORIAN e OBI-WAN KENOBI.
Ainda temos mais ANDOR pela frente (uma segunda temporada de mais 12 episódios).
Mas, na minha opinião, ANDOR caminha na direção de ocupar um lugar nesta primeira turma.
Yesterday I saw the twelfth and final episode of the ANDOR series, created by Tony Gilroy for Lucasfilm.
This last chapter was great. It left a lot of appetite for more adventures from Cass Andor and the gang.
It is true that it was much more drama than adventure. Andor’s mother’s funeral scene, masterfully played by Fiona Lewis, was incredible and emotional.
There are many good actors in ANDOR: Diego Luna, Fiona Lewis, Adria Arjona, Forest Whitaker, Varada Sethu, Genevieve O’Reilly (another who did very well as rebel Senator Mon Mothma), Stellan Skarsgard. A cast like that, with a great story, could only give good things.
Since STAR WARS IV: A NEW HOPE, back in 1977, the Resistance’s fight against the powerful and cruel empire has a special charm. Impossible not to be moved by the fight against the Empire.
I like ROGUE ONE a lot, for me the best of all STAR WARS spin offs. ANDOR takes up the backstory of the ROGUE ONE crew at a high level.
These series that LUCASFILM is creating with other stories of the characters that appeared in the STAR WARS movies have given us invaluable material to keep our passion for Star Wars fans alive.
I really like THE MANDALORIAN and OBI-WAN KENOBI.
We still have more ANDOR to come (a second season of 12 more episodes).
But, in my opinion, ANDOR is heading towards occupying a place in this first class.
