A HBO MAX está exibindo a novíssima comédia romântica italiana AN ITALIAN GOURMET CRIME STORY (UNA CENA PERFETTA), dirigido pelo cineasta italiano Davide Minella.
Carmine Giordano (Salvatore Esposito) é um jovem napolitano que dirige uma pizzaria que tem como propósito “lavar” o dinheiro ganho por meios escusos por seu padrinho o mafioso Pasquale Rizzuto (Gianfranco Gallo), um poderoso membro da Cosa Nostra. Um desfalque do sócio dele leva o jovem ao exílio, sendo mandado para Roma, cuidar de um restaurante de alta gastronomia.
Ali ele encontra Consuelo (a atriz Greta Scarano, sucesso na TV por CIRCEO), um idealista e temperamental jovem chef de cozinha, descendente de argentinos que sonha em ganhar uma estrela Michelin.
Entre os dois vai se desenvolver uma bela relação afetiva, um misto de a bela e a fera, com ciúmes e alta gastronomia entremeados. C;aro que a parte criminal da trama vai dificultar muito o romance entre os protagonistas.
LA CENA PERFETTA é um filme leve e muito gostoso de se ver. Outra vez, os pratos incríveis da Chef Consuelo têm papel essencial na narrativa.
O filme é superficial como as comédias românticas não raramente são. O assunto Máfia é abordado de forma bem leve, quase simplória.
Mas o romance central é encantador e segura muito bem o filme.
Gostei muito de ver LA CENA PERFETTA. Não é um jantar inesquecível, mas proporciona deliciosos sabores ao espectador.

Carmine Giordano (Salvatore Esposito) is a young Neapolitan who runs a pizzeria with the purpose of “laundering” the money earned by shady means by his godfather, the mobster Pasquale Rizzuto (Gianfranco Gallo), a powerful member of Cosa Nostra.
An embezzlement by his partner leads the young man into exile, being sent to Rome to take care of a haute cuisine restaurant.
There he meets Consuelo (actress Greta Scarano, hit on TV by CIRCEO), an idealistic and temperamental young chef, of Argentine descent, who dreams of winning a Michelin star.
A beautiful affective relationship will develop between the two, a mixture of beauty and the beast, with jealousy and haute cuisine interspersed.
Of course, the criminal part of the plot will make the romance between the protagonists very difficult.
LA CENA PERFETTA is a light and very pleasant film to watch.
Once again, Chef Consuelo’s incredible dishes play an essential role in the narrative.
The film is superficial as romantic comedies often are.
The Mafia subject is approached in a very light, almost simplistic way.
But the central romance is charming and holds the film together very well.
I really enjoyed watching LA CENA PERFETTA.
It is not an unforgettable dinner, but it provides delicious flavors to the spectator.
