James Garner viveu o imortal Detetive Particular criado pelo escritor Raymond Chandler.
O filme está longe dos melhores com Phillip Marlowe.
Mas tem algumas curiosidades interessantes.
Há um personagem feito pelo icônico Bruce Lee que vai ao pequeno escritório de Marlowe e destrói tudo a golpes de caratê.
Como mulheres fatais, o filme tem Rita Moreno e Gayle Hunnicutt.
Garner, como quase sempre, desfila sua cara de debochado em meio à trama policial que não é das mais criativas.
Vou ter que esperar pelo MARLOWE de Neil Jordan.
