Vi no HULU, o primeiro episódio de UNPRISIONED, uma série com ares de comédia dramática que estreou nesta semana.
Kerry Washington é Paige Alexander, uma exitosa terapeuta que bomba na internet como influencer, é mãe solteira e vê sua vida de pernas para o ar quando o Pai é solto da prisão, depois de cumprir pena por 17 anos.
Edwin Alexander é o ótimo Delroy Lindo, sempre um ator a ser observado com atenção. Edwin é aquele tipo de sujeito que sabe tudo, não cumpre qualquer regra ou promessa e está sempre na beira de provocar um ataque de nervos na filha.
O episódio um foi de apresentação da trama e dos personagens, como é inevitável.
Achei que oscilou muito no tom, entre o cômico e o dramático. Teve, é inegável, boas cenas.
E parece que vai investir no carisma da dupla Washington-Lindo. Os dois têm talento de sobra.
Vamos ver onde vai dar.

Kerry Washington is Paige Alexander, a successful therapist who bombs the internet as an influencer, is a single mother and sees her life turned upside down when her father is released from prison, after serving a sentence for 17 years.
Edwin Alexander is the great Delroy Lindo, always an actor to watch closely. Edwin is that kind of guy who knows everything, doesn’t keep any rules or promises and is always on the verge of giving his daughter a nervous breakdown.
Episode one was a presentation of the plot and characters, as is inevitable.
I thought it fluctuated a lot in tone, between the comic and the dramatic. It had, it is undeniable, good scenes.
And it looks like he’s going to invest in the charisma of the Washington-Lindo duo. Both have plenty of talent.
