Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne) fugiu durante um ano do gângster que a acusa de ter matado seu filho. Agora, capturada, vê sua vida piorar quando Sterling Frost. Sr. (Ron Perlman) é morto por seu braço direito, o sinistro Cliff Legrand (Benjamin Bratt).
Parece que Charlie vai ter que voltar à estrada, percorrendo pequenas localidades dos EUA, resgatando pessoas com sua habilidade de descobrir quem está mentindo e quem está dizendo a verdade.
POKER FACE, série criada por Rian Johnson é bastante divertida. As histórias são curtas, criativas e sabem por as habilidades de Charlie à prova.
A inevitável segunda temporada terá minha audiência.
Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne) has been on the run for a year from the gangster who accuses her of having killed her son. Now, captured, she sees her life take a turn for the worse as Sterling Frost. Mr. (Ron Perlman) is killed by his right-hand man, the sinister Cliff Legrand (Benjamin Bratt).
It looks like Charlie will have to get back on the road, touring small towns across the US, rescuing people with her ability to figure out who’s lying and who’s telling the truth.
POKER FACE, series created by Rian Johnson is quite fun. The stories are short, creative and know how to put Charlie’s skills to the test.
The inevitable second season will have my audience.
