A série é baseada no livro de Taylor Jenkins Reid, que teria se inspirado em sua paixão pela Banda Fleetwood Mac. Está no Amazon Prime Video.
O tom de “falso” documentário alternando os “depoimentos”atuais com os grandes momentos da banda na década de 70, funcionaram bastante bem nestes primeiros episódios. O espectador fica muito ansioso em saber por que houve a separação.
Mesmo não sendo um fã de bandas de rock, sempre me impressionou a quantidade de bandas que se desfizeram no auge do sucesso, a começar pela mais famosa, THE BEATLES.
Uma das estrelas do momento, Riley Keough, neta de Elvis Presley e Priscilla Presley é a protagonista do show, vivendo com maestria a própria Daisy Jones. É um trabalho impressionate. Realmente dá vida à personagem.
No elenco, com Keough, estão Sam Clafin, Camilla Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, Timothy Olyphant e Josh Whitehouse.
Nos anos recentes, muitos filmes (e séries) exploram a capacidade do cinema em recriar grandes concertos de rock. As imagens e sons – com a tecnologia atual de captação – são realmente impressionantes, criando cenas grandiosas.

After a sold out concert at Chicago’s legendary Soldier Field in 1977, rock band Daisy Jones and The Six (then topping all charts) simply disbanded. Now, a “false” documentary seeks to understand what happened, listening to everyone involved.
The series is based on the book by Taylor Jenkins Reid, who would have been inspired by his passion for the Fleetwood Mac Band. It’s on Amazon Prime Video.
The “fake” documentary tone, alternating current “testimonials” with the band’s great moments in the 70’s, worked quite well in these first episodes. The viewer is very anxious to know why there was a separation.
Even though I’m not a fan of rock bands, I’ve always been impressed by the number of bands that broke up at the height of their success, starting with the most famous one, THE BEATLES.

Even for those who don’t have this passion, the series leaves a strong positive feeling.
