É muito impressionante a quantidade de filmes, séries e novelas originadas da Turquia que aparecem no catálogo da NETFLIX. São dezenas de títulos. Em geral. acho narrativas monótonas e arrastadas, com lindas mulheres mas enredos pouco criativos.
Por insistência do meu amigo Ernâni Back, vi ontem o filme noir intitulado 10 DIAS DE UM HOMEM BOM, dirigido por Uluç Bayraktar.
Sadik (Nejat Isler) é um ex-advogado que perdeu o direito de advogar quando foi condenado à prisão por fraude, assumindo a culpa de sua ex-esposa, também advogada, hoje casada com um milionário. Sadik virou detetive particular e é encarregado do caso do desaparecimento de um rapaz no submundo de Istambul.
Há dois aspectos muito interessantes no filme.
O primeiro – e melhor – é que o filme favorito de Sadik é o excelente UM LONGO DE PERIGOSO ADEUS, de Robert Altman, em que Elliot Gould vive o detetive Phillip Marlowe. Sadik roda o filme em sua TV sem parar e dialoga com Gould, perguntando como Marlowe agiria em cada encruzilhada do complexo caso a seus cuidados.
O segundo é que Sadik desfilla pela baixa Istambul sem qualquer prurido. Há jovens prostitutas (como a vizinha (Ylaida Alisan) que namora Sadik sem culpa, uma jovem colegial que ganha a vida fazendo chantagens e programas com homens mais velhos (Ilayda Akdogan), gângsters mal encarados e violentos que matam e torturam sem pestanejar, atrizes veteranas que sonham em voltar a seu apogeu nas telas, jovens garotos de programa que seduzem a todos, em resumo, uma galera muito variada e transgressora.
O tom do filme é de um policial noir. Há pessoas sumidas, mulheres fatais sedutoras, perseguições a suspeitos, tipos corruptos, policiais inoperantes, vigílias em lugares perigosos, e reviravoltas inesperadas da trama, enfim, tudo que um bom noir que se preze tem.
Enfim, na minha opinião, o filme se justifica.
Ainda tempo algumas cenas faladas demais e um ritmo meio lento, mas a história segura a atenção do espectador em alta.
Gostei de 10 DIAS DE UM HOMEM BOM. Sadik e sua turma conseguem entreter com qualidade.

Sadik has become a private detective and is in charge of the case of the disappearance of a young man in the underworld of Istanbul.
There are two very interesting aspects of the film.
The first – and best – is that Sadik’s favorite film is Robert Altman‘s excellent THE LONG GOODBYE, in which Elliot Gould plays detective Phillip Marlowe. Sadik runs the film on his TV non-stop and dialogues with Gould, asking how Marlowe would act at each crossroads in the complex case in his care.
The second is that Sadik parades around downtown Istanbul without any rash. There are young prostitutes (like the neighbor (Ylaida Alisan) who dates Sadik without guilt, a young schoolgirl who earns her living by blackmailing and hooking up with older men (Ilayda Akdogan), evil-looking and violent gangsters who kill and torture without blinking, actresses veterans who dream of returning to their heyday on screen, young prostitutes who seduce everyone, in short, a very varied and transgressive crowd.
The tone of the film is that of a noir movie. There are missing people, fatal seductive women, pursuit of suspects, corrupt types, inoperative police, vigils in dangerous places, and unexpected plot twists, in short, everything that a good noir worth its salt has.
Anyway, in my opinion, the film is justified.
There are still some scenes that are too spoken and a bit slow paced, but the story holds the viewer’s attention high.
I liked 10 DAYS OF A GOOD MAN. Sadik and his gang manage to entertain with quality.
