O FILME DA MINHA VIDA, de Selton Mello, disponível no NOW é um excelente filme. Para iniciar, passa por muitos temas fascinantes da vida humana, como a relação com pai e mãe, a infância, a memória, o amor, a amizade, tudo de maneira adulta, emotiva, sensível, inteligente e profunda.
O segundo ponto altamente positivo do filme é o esmero formal da produção, que inicia com a fotografia brilhante do velho mestre Wladimir Carvalho, passa por uma trilha sonora de primeiro nível, onde pontua a excepcional canção HIER ENCORE, cantada por Charles Aznavour.
E tudo desagua no elenco de primeira, capitaneado pelo próprio diretor e roteirista Selton Mello, pelo magnífico ator francês Vincent Cassel, pelo jovem Johny Massaro (25 anos), Bruna Linzmeyer, Rolando Boldrin (incrível) e Martha Nowill.
O filme tem muitas cenas que lembram clássicos do cinema (CINEMA PARADISO muito!), mas as mençoes diretas a RIO VERMELHO, de Howard Hawks são simplesmente o máximo. Mello conseguiu levar para seu filme toda a grandiosidade da obra de Hawks e do western.
As cenas do trem e as frases do roteiro sobre suas viagens também são de arrepiar.
O FILME DA MINHA VIDA é um dos melhores filmes brasileiros dos últimos anos e um programa a ser visto obrigatoriamente.
Selton Mello’s THE MOVIE OF MY LIFE, available on NOW is an excellent film. To begin with, it goes through many fascinating themes of human life, such as the relationship with father and mother, childhood, memory, love, friendship, all in an adult, emotional, sensitive, intelligent and profound way.
The second highly positive point of the film is the formal excellence of the production, which begins with the brilliant photography of the old master Wladimir Carvalho, passes through a first level soundtrack, where we have the exceptional HIER ENCORE song, sung by Charles Aznavour.
And all goes into the first level cast, led by the director and screenwriter Selton Mello, by the magnificent French actor Vincent Cassel, by the young Johny Massaro (25), Bruna Linzmeyer, Rolando Boldrin (incredible) and Martha Nowill.
The movie has many scenes reminiscent of movie classics (CINEMA PARADISO a lot!), But Howard Hawks’s direct mention of RED RIVER is simply the ultimate show. Mello was able to bring to his film all the greatness of the work of Hawks and the western.
The scenes of the train and the sentences of the script about their trips are also of shivering.
THE FILM OF MY LIFE is one of the best Brazilian films of recent years and a program to be seen.
