Na busca por filmes e séries diferentes, fui bater em uma chamada IMPOSTORES (IMPOSTERS), no Canal BRAVO americano cujo enredo é muito semelhante à falecida série THE CATCH, com Mireille Enos: um grupo de vigaristas monta golpes de casamentos com pessoas ricas e carentes para sumir tempos depois deixando o abandonado arrasado e quebrado.
A diferencá entre IMPOSTERS e THE CATCH é o tom. Aqui vivemos uma série que mistura policial com comédia de humor negro e tem um elenco surpreendente. Basta dizer que no capítulo três, Uma Thurman dá o ar da graça como uma assassina de aluguel encarregada de colocar as coisas de volta nos eixos do planejamento da quadrilha.
Os produtores de IMPOSTERS são o americano Paul Adelstein (o policial vilão do primeiro ano de CHANCE) e o canadense Adam Brooks (da série BRIDGET JONES).
O elenco é liderado pela linda atriz israelense Idar Lavi (O ÚLTIMO CAÇADOR DE BRUXAS), Rob Heaps, Mary Key Place e Marianne Rendón(uma novata que promete).
O tom da série é tão non sense que, a certa altura dois maridos e uma esposa enganados pela turma se unem para ir atrás dela a qualquer custo. Claro que a diversidade gera situações inusitadas.
IMPOSTERS rende boa diversão a seus espectadores.
In the quest for different films and series, I hit IMPOSTERS, on the American BRAVO Channel whose plot is very similar to the late series THE CATCH, with Mireille Enos: a group of crooks rides weddings with rich and needy people to disappear times after leaving the abandoned destroyed and broken.
The difference between IMPOSTERS and THE CATCH is the tone. Here we live a series that mixes cop with comedy of black humor and has an amazing cast. Suffice it to say that in chapter three, Uma Thurman gives the air of grace as a rent assassin charged with putting things back on the lines of gang planning.
IMPOSTERS producers are American Paul Adelstein (CHANCE’s first-year villain) and Canadian Adam Brooks (BRIDGET JONES series).
The cast is led by beautiful Israeli actress Idar Lavi, Rob Heaps, mary Key Place and Marianne Rendon (a promising newbie).
The tone of the series is so non-sense that at one point two husbands and a wife cheated by the gang unite to go after her at any cost. Of course diversity creates unusual situations.
IMPOSTERS renders good fun to your viewers.
