Em 2011, o cineasta e roteirista francês Xavier Durringer fez o telefilme policial INVERNO VERMELHO (HIVER ROUGE – CRIMSON WINTER), disponível na Amazon Prime Video, contando a história de um veterano comissário da Polícia Parisiense que investigando os assassinatos cometidos por um serial killer, é obrigado a trabalhar com uma jovem profiler que havia trabalhado no FBI.
A diversidade de conceitos, métodos e valores dos dois, a princípio, causa vários choques culturais e profissionais. Aos poucos, os dois vão vendo que são complementares, o que pode ajudar muito o trabalho policial.
O veterano ator francês Patrick Chesnais (O ESCAFANDRO E A BORBOLETA) vive o interessantíssimo personagem do Comissário Rousseau. Sua tumultuada vida pessoal (ele tem um filho jovem gay que abandonou a família e uma esposa paraplégica que se recusa a falar desde que o filho foi embora) interefere em seu trabalho, relações e métodos.
A profiler Marielle de Lucca é a atriz Camille Pannonacle, que vive uma policial solitária, ousada, com uma vida sexual múltipla e errática mas com conhecimentos científicos brilhantes e sempre disposta a tudo para resolver seus casos.
O terceiro nome do elenco é a mítica Jane Birkin (o clássico BLOW UP de Michelangelo Antonioni), como Lili Rousseau, a esposa problemática do Comissário.
Neste primeiro filme, a dupla enfrenta crimes bárbaros cometidos em Paris no período natalino. O sucesso do filme foi tamanho que gerou uma série de filmes que ficaram conhecidos como Le Saisons Meurtrières (algo como As Estações Mortais), que incluem os títulos BLEU CATACOMBES, JEUNE IRIS e NOIR ENIGMA, todos com a dupla policial.
As franquias com filmes policiais mostrando trabalhos em duplas são bastantes comuns. Os filmes da Saison Meurtrières se destacam como exemplares franceses competentes, bem feitos, violentos e instigantes. Vale a pena ver.

Franchises with thrillers showing cop duos are quite common. Saison Meurtrières films stand out as competent, well-made, violent and thought-provoking French movies. Worth seeing.
