A NETFLIX está mostrando o filme romeno O PAI QUE MOVE MONTANHAS, uma produção romena dirigida por Daniel Sandu. A trama narra a história de um ex-agente secreto que recebe a notícia do desaparecimento de seu filho e da namorada em uma montanha.
As autoridades locais fazem todas as buscas possíveis mas os resultados são negativos. Então, o pai desesperado pede aos ex-colegas do Exército que vão para o local com os equipamentos mais modernos tentando salvar seu filho.
O filme é um desastre, a começar pelo roteiro. O que era um argumento bem promissor, tomou rumos bem questionáveis. A tese parece ser que os fins justificam os meios. O Pai pode fazer o que for e distratar quem quer que seja por quer salvar o filho, mesmo contra todas as probabilidades.
O filme não encontrou seu rumo.
O protagonista é um personagem insensível (trata a mulher grávida com frieza e a ex-mulher com mais atenção) mas não mostra um pingo de solidariedade com os familiares dos outros desaparecidos. achei muito mal desenvolvido.
O pior é que o filme parece um elogio às ações dele, desde o título.
Acho que o diretor ficou perdido como o filho do personagem principal.
NETFLIX is showing the film THE FATHER WHO MOVES MOUNTAINS, a Romanian production directed by Daniel Sandu. The plot tells the story of a former secret agent who receives the news of the disappearance of his son and girlfriend on a mountain.
Local authorities do all possible searches but the results are negative. So, the desperate father asks his former Army colleagues to go to the site with the latest equipment trying to save his son.
The film is a disaster, starting with the script. What was a very promising argument, took very questionable directions. The thesis seems to be that the ends justify the means. The Father can do anything and hits anyone because he wants to save the child, even against all odds.
The film has not found its way.
The protagonist is an insensitive character (he treats the pregnant woman coldly and his ex-wife more attentively) but he doesn’t show a shred of solidarity with the relatives of the other disappeared. I found it very poorly developed.
The worst thing is that the movie seems like a compliment to his actions, right from the title.
