NOITE DE LOBOS (HOLD THE DARK), de Jeremy Saulnier, em cartaz na NETFLIX é um thriller de ação original. O sumiço de três crianças no Alasca é atribuído aos lobos da região. A mãe de um dos desaparecidos contrata um escritor especializado em lobos para rastrear o filho e descobrir o que houve.
A trama seguiu o caminho de mesclar elementos religiosos, mitológicos e até meio sobrenaturais à trama policial original. Acho que o filme ficou meio desorientado.
O que segura um pouco a atenção do espectador são dois elementos: as deslumbrantes paisagens geladas do Alasca e o elenco muito interessante do filme: Jeffrey Wright (sempre ótimo), Kiley Reough e Alexander Skarsgard.
Os 125 minutos talvez sejam um pouco longos demais para a história do filme.
Mas dá para ver HOLD THE DARK sem problemas.
HOLD THE DARK, by Jeremy Saulnier, now showing on NETFLIX is an original action thriller. The disappearance of three children in Alaska is attributed to wolves in the region. The mother of one of the missing hires a writer specializing in wolves to track down her son and find out what happened.
The plot followed the path of mixing religious, mythological and even supernatural elements to the original detective plot. I think the movie got a little disoriented.
What holds the viewer’s attention a little are two elements: the stunning icy landscapes of Alaska and the very interesting cast of the film: Jeffrey Wright (always great), Kiley Reough and Alexander Skarsgard.
The 125 minutes might be a little too long for the film’s story.
But you can watch HOLD THE DARK without any problems.
